The idea stage is the starting point of any innovative or entrepreneurial venture. An entrepreneur constantly scans her environment for new ideas, and evaluates them for their innovation potential.
Pre-requisites:
There are two basic pre-requisites for being a fertile source of ideas. One is a general sense of openness, and a habit of observing one's environment. The second is an ability to quickly evaluate ideas based on a set of criteria for their feasibility, business potential and fit with personal and organizational goals.
